Earlier this month, we hosted a live MAWi webinar showing how custom digital signage apps can now be created faster than ever.
The main idea was simple:
You can take an idea, generate a browser-based app, and bring it into MAWi as part of your own digital signage experience.
During the webinar, we demonstrated how a custom app can control real signage behavior, trigger content changes, and interact with screens through MAWi’s system.
This is not just about showing websites on screens. It is about turning ideas into working operational tools, where the app becomes part of the signage workflow.
For example, a gym timer, a production dashboard, a control-room interface, a queue management tool, a welcome screen, or any other custom browser-based application can become the center of a live signage experience.
CMS Free Zone – Your App, Your Screens
We introduced the CMS Free Zone, a new concept that generated a lot of excitement. With it, organizations can integrate their AI-generated or custom apps as native CMS applications that run locally in their MAWi account, giving them full control without external dependencies. This flexible approach opens the door for tailored workflows, automated content experiences, and use cases that go beyond traditional signage.
